rPi Plexamp not working with overlayFS enabled

Hi,
I was trying to enable overlayFS on my Pi so you can disconnect power without risking damages to the filesystem. This however seems to prevent plexamp from playing anything.

I don’t really see any logs in the console that give me any hints as to what’s the problem. I suspect it could be caching as the available space to write on the filesystem (Ramdisk) is only 745MB after enabling it. Any chance this can be changed to work in the future - disabling the disk cache for example?

Is there a different location where logs are stored to see if anything gets logged?

Best,
Paul

Edit: Found the log directory:
Plexamp.log (74.8 KB)

Looks like there’s massive audio issue. This is the error trying to initially audio.

#define BASS_ERROR_DRIVER	3	// can't find a free/valid driver

Mhh okay will try to narrow it down. I used an older version of raspbian with a full Plex Media Player install before where it worked with OverlayFS enabled.

Haven’t really tried using audio with it on the latest raspbian. I will report back if I find anything.
