hello,
i made a fresh install of rc1, ran pre-caching, and everything worked fine.
my daughter fell asleep watching a movie. the screen dimmed. and when she woke rasplex was frozen.
and when i re-booted the remote no longer worked !
a second fresh install leaves me in the same situation.
my other rpi updated itself automatically and the remote continues to work as before.
any help appreciated !

You could switch the SD-cards to rule out a hardware-defect.
hello,
i solved this problem by adding "modprobe lirc_rpi" to autostart.sh.
my other rpi still works without having added this.
the rpi still freezes if you leave in standby too long while not on main screen.
looking forward to rc2. :-)
