So some people report they got it working. Too bad the companion doesn’t work anymore . Wonder if it’ll work with the desktop app?
Fake HDR seems to be working in Chrome for me.
But the Super resolution doesn’t look different – even though the control panel states that it is active.
[edit:] well, actually there is a slight sharpening visible on rather low quality videos. But the effect is rather subdued, even though it says “Quality 4” processing is activated, which is supposed to be the highest level.
And it is only activated if the video pixel dimensions are significantly lower than the video window is large. Which means that the majority of my video files will not be scaled, because my screen is only 1440p.
I don’t want to go 4K because then I’d also need an RTX 4090, instead of a RTX 4080 for gaming.
Thanks for the feedback, I need to invest in a new PC so am exploring options. This helps.
