Running inside docker - Scanner finds the media file but not adding to library

I am running Plex in a docker container. I have mapped the /data volume out of the container (standard stuff -v /plex/library:/data). I have a movie file inside my library folder which is named as mission-impossible-fallout.mp4 . This file shows even when I choose the media folder for the library through the Plex web UI. (see the attached image):

Still after that my library shows ‘There are no items in this library’. Any idea what is happening?
