I have a series of football games spanning multiple years. I would like the main category be football with seasons (years) as sub categories. I created my directory structure using folders Season 10, Season 11 etc. In each folder I have multiple games for that season. I have used the SnnEaa format (S-Season, E-Epsiode) in the file name.
When I use PLEX to show the games there is a seperate folder for each year. But then there is another folder with that year and then in that forlder I have the games.
This was created as a tv show type of media. Unlike the TVSHOWS where each season is a folder and in that folder is the media files.
Any idea what I am doing wrong
Unless someone else has a better idea, I think you are going to end up doing a ton of very manual work matching and sorting all of those. I don’t know how you would do that in the TV section. What I would do is put them in a Movie library and then go through and manually add them to collections. This is sort of what I do with with MMA. I have my UFC fights in a collection for UFC, same for Bellator, One Championship, etc. They are all under a Movie library labeled MMA.
