Samsung screensaver interrupts Plex photo slideshow

The TV activates the screensaver after 2 minutes during a Plex photo slideshow. I have confirmed that other apps (such as the Samsung USB-storage photo player and Pixo) are able to display slideshows and prevent the screensaver. There is also a function in the AppCommon API called setScreenSaver() which seems to handle this: Setting Screensaver | Samsung Developer

The TV is a QD-OLED, and it has no setting to manually disable the screensaver, likely to protect the panel, so it seems this must be done programmatically via the tizen app.

I’m hoping a future update could correct this problem.
