Hello Plex-world,
I got new Samsung TV Q70R, which as it appeared doesn’t support DTS, TrueHD and other audio codecs. Surely, it was the worst purchase I ever made, piece of crap.
I was expecting that Plex Media Server will help me to resolve the issue by transcoding, however in some scenarios even PMS can’t help.
I have couple of files which i couldn’t play. Co-incidence or not, but all of them are being played perfectly for 1 minute and 48-50 seconds, then the playback stops and is stuck on permanent buffering and doesn’t play any second longer.
I’ve read in the forums that it might be because of subtitles, but even without subs the issue remains.
The issue only appears with DTS and TRUEHD audio tracks, while with AC3 it is totally fine.
