There is an APP you can install on Windows and control/stream to these as well as an Android/iOS app. I would ike to use them to stream from PLEX over the network to them.
They do support DLNA (which I have not enabled yet on my server).
Would it be possible to use these with PLEX? I have reviewed the other topics posted, but found no definitive answer.
If these are not supported - are there any speakers which could replace these (have them all through the house) to stream music?
Unfortunately not. Casting to generic DLNA players is not supported.
Plex can only cast to other “real” Plex clients.
It can also stream to Sonos
and from the web app running in the Chrome Browser (and from Android mobile) it can also stream to Chromecast.
Thank You… I know these are OLD. They work great, it is a shame that nobody supports them - I think that SAMSUNG does not really even support them any more.
What is meant by this item in the list of RECEIVER ONLY PLEX APPS?
Samsung Smart Hub (v2.006+, third-party)
What is that? Is this the SMART HUB which runs on my Samsung TV? I have the PLEX App installed on my Samsung TV and it works great.
??? - Is there a specific SONOS which is supported?
