I got email purporting to be from PLEX that offers a VPN service, MYSAFEVPN. Their web site is 3 days old, is missing any contact info, has setup pages instead of FAQ and ANNOUNCEMENTS, and the subscription price on the web is the same as the email rate that claims to be special “today”. Is this a scam?

I see now this has been addressed as a scam. Sorry for the extra postings.
FYI no viruses per Malwarebytes after a visit. The site is in several blacklists for phishing, no reports of malware. Yet.
THE FORUM SHOULD POST A BANNER ASAP, and a mailing to all members is called for as well. This is a trap that will damage PLEX’s reputation if not handled quickly and well.
