Scan Library Files Scanning Won't Stop After Last Folder Is Scanned

I thought I saw this topic posted here a few days ago, but I can’t find it now, so sorry if this has already been discussed.

When I do Scan Library Files from the Home menu, it will scan each folder, but now it gets STUCK on the very last folder that only has a few video files in it and it just sits there spinning (scanning) indefinitely. The icon on the upper right of the screen shows activity and that it’s scanning the folder but it should normally take less than a second to scan but it just gets stuck there.

Any ideas??
