Plex Media Server Logs_2022-02-01_11-32-15.zip (2.0 MB)
I am migrating my Plex server from a QNAP NAS to a CentOS PC, and saw some missing music. The crux of the issue comes from the error (reproducible by triggering a metadata refresh on the music library):
ERROR - [FFMPEG] - Header processing failed: Invalid data found when processing input
ERROR - Match: Caught exception opening file: Could not parse /real/path/to/music.ogg (error=-1094995529): Invalid data found when processing input
I have verified that the file is accessible to the Plex server’s user ID, and that the file is actually OK (vorbiscomment command reports correct info., and a desktop player plays the files OK).
If I visit one of the files in question in Plex, the get info option still shows the path pre-migration, although I guess that is to be expected.
Maybe tellingly, the issue applies to all files in two related albums I would have ripped at the same time. I see one other (whole) album exhibiting that problem, but only those.
It does sort of feel like a permissions error, but I’ve definitely run vorbiscomment and file on the files as the Plex user.
