Does anyone know of a way to “see” if PMS is currently recording something? I can do it by hand in the web app or the new windows app, but need to do it in a script of some kind. I noticed over the weekend that an NFL games I was recording stopped mid-game because my EPG update script ran during the recording and there was a schedule change on the channel for some reason. If there was a way for me to run a check I can skip the update until after when nothing is recording.
Replying to my own question - I got it to work with a workaround so to speak. I am testing to see if there are any files in the .grab folder in my movies and recorded-tv libraries. Seems to work ok, but would prefer to make some kind of API call into Plex proper.
