I have been waiting patiently for the search by genre feature to be added to the Xbox one app any ideas when this will happen, its impossible to navigate my library on the Xbox one I have to go to the Xbox 360 app cause it has this feature.
I love the voice activated features of the Xbox one but frustrating when I cannot use it.
any idea when would be great.

Really need the filters for content rating or genre as a minimum.
Try browsing for a rated G movie with my toddler seeing all my horror film covers. Not good.
Also channels would be awsome
Xbox 360 has all the extra features, such as search, sort, filter and channels. Why is Xbox One being neglected?
It is a little unfair, as the Xbox One is so much better as an entertainment system interface, why would I want to use the old 360.

We're still hard at work on the XB1 client, and hope to (eventually) have feature parity across the clients. Including filtering and channels.

The Xbox one app is in a preview stage. One of the benefits of a Plex pass is being able to use the preview apps before they are released.
