Is it possible that when I select Movies I can then look at films by their genre? Action, Comedy etc?

Choose “view all movies” and in there you can select a genre.
When I choose view all movies, It only let's me sort by letter not genre.
I just assumed the Xbox 360 plex app is the same as the Xbox one app.
I don’t have plex on my Xbox One anymore, so I can’t compare… sorry bout that.

And then once in there you can see your selections.

No it doesn't, when you go to 'All Movies' on the Xbox One, all you can do it jump to a letter!
Well I guess the Xbox 360 app is further ahead in development
It would be awesome to add any feature that helps with sorting. It's pretty cumbersome right now to navigate.

yeah tbh, I might cancel my Plex Plus until thisis sorted. Using XBMC via my TV offers better navigation at the minute.
A simple Browse By would sort that.
This and Recently Added and Unwatched and we'll be close to what we have through the web interface.
Their release is young so it needs to mature, though I was worried to read in a blog post that they did consider this interface was where they wish others to look like to.
The first screen is alas spam-like for me as More from and all those are not the best way to find my content.
As such, I jump straight to the TV Shows tile and do my own browsing.
Having to discard an entire front page is not talking volume as to the value it's providing to me.
Again, TO ME.
I'm quite certain some people can see value in having a More from CW, or Rediscover a serie whose last 7 episodes were seen during a single week.
But hey, Browse By / Recently Added and Unwatched, even if 3 menus deep down, and I'll be a happy camper.
But from a strict UX point of view, I don't see this main page as a value proposition as of now...
I hope the filters are implemented soon. I love being able to view movies by "Recently Added" and "Recently Released" movies in the other Plex apps.
