Mac Pro, Plex Lifetime customer. If I search on the Plex Server or Rokus for any title, I get No Results.
I’ve spent 1.5 hours going through this forum and nothing appears relevant.
Also, I dropped a movie in my folder “Game of Thrones: The Story So Far” and it does not recognize it and won’t show it in my library as an available title.
Metadata for several titles that were perfectly fine, are now changed to something completely different and it’s struggling to update them when I go select the Fix Matched option. Spinning wheel of death around the pencil of the movie thumbnail.
If you are talking about the new Plex for Roku UI then yeah, it’s completely useless.
I haven’t been able to do a global search for anything on that build. Always no results. I must be in a library for the search to work.
Plex Retro app
I can even search for the word “THE” in the Retro app and it displays a full array of stuff in shows, movies, photos, collections, actors, directors, and episodes.
RE: Game of Thrones. Is the library type “Movie” or “TV”? You won’t get good results dropping a movie into a “TV” library, nor a TV show into a “Movie” library. thetvdb.com lists “Game of Thrones: The Story So Far” as a “special” tv episode, not a movie. Try dropping it into your “TV” library as: Game of Thrones - S00E43 - The Story So Far. It should show up.
Yeah, that didn’t work either. Also, it’s worse. No content that gets added comes up, so I deleted the com.plexapp.plugins.library.db file and reset my libraries. They are steadily processing now, and I hope that will resolve the issue. Been running for about an hour. Crossing my fingers
