I totally love the new search behavior but it does have one strange quirk. The fact that it brings up the titles even with only partial info is great. This seems to work perfectly most of the time but sometimes when entering a partial title a few titles will show up but not all titles containing the exact same letters. The missing title will eventually show up but not until the complete name is typed in.
In this example I was checking to see if I had the 2015 movie Vacation. After typing (Vacatio) all but the last letter of Vacation I had 3 titles containing the word Vacation, but the 2015 movie Vacation does not show up until the last letter"n" is typed. And oddly the title Christmas Vacation 2 which was in the list with the partial spelling is gone once the complete word Vacation is typed.
I was just wondering what could be the cause of this behavior?

Ok, I made a test of my own and my conclusion is there is definitely something wrong with the search engine. The problem is only evident in a web browser. It does not happen when searching on My Roku’s
I install a new PMS on an entirely new computer. Then I put in only a single library for Movies. This Library was directed to a folder in the new computer that contained only 6 movies. These are the same movies that do not all show up when doing a search.
The six movies where the Chevy Chase Vacation movies:
National Lampoons Vacation (1983)
National Lampoons European Vacation (1985)
National Lampoons Christmas Vacation (1989)
Vegas Vacation (1997)
National Lampoons Christmas Vacation 2 Eddies Island (2003)
Vacation (2015)
Of these movies as you type 3 of them show up while typing up til the word Vacation is completed:
National Lampoons Vacation (1983)
National Lampoons Christmas Vacation (1989)
National Lampoons Christmas Vacation 2 Eddies Island (2003)
Once the word Vacation is completed the following 3 movies show up:
Vacation (2015)
National Lampoons Vacation (1983)
National Lampoons Christmas Vacation (1989)
As you see it drops the 2003 movie but adds the 2015 one.
I might add I run 2 PMS,s on 2 different computers all the time and they get exactly the same results. Since they are both on Windows 10 when I did the test I installed PMS on a Windows 7 computer.
The answer is there is only a 3 limit to the drop down search. Selecting Show More Results brings them all up.
I can confirm this behavior and I have tested it with different browser. The iOS and SmartTV searches are working fine. I have the 1.0.3. server version installed on a 415+.
Pressing Show More works same as pressing Enter. Not all movies with the same file name or similar file name are shown.
The database is fine since other clients work flawlessly. This started with server version 1.0.1.
