So, i have a strange question. Since these days there are lot of audio formats (is that even the right word?) floating around, i was wondering if there was a way to search/filter by this?
By audio format, im referring to things like number of channels (like 2.0, 5.1, 7.1) as well as formats (like Dolby Atmos, DTS:X etc). In my case, i have couple of media that have Atmos support, but i dont know of a good way to filter them all so i can see which media in my library supports them.
Also, while im at it, i know there is a way to filter by resolution, but is there a way to filter by HDR (or dolby vision or what ever they call it) content (not that i have any yet, but just thinking ahead)?
Yeah fair enough on this feature not existing. But is there any technical reasons that prevent this from being “added”?
Because these days the new audio formats like Atmos and DTS:X are very common things people would want to sort media by, same as HD/1080p few years back (when 1080p media was still a bit rare).
I was told this feature is available in Kodi, so I can’t imagine it would be that hard.
I need to find my TrueHD rips because I discovered I made a mistake in the process. Would be nice to be able to search rather than installing Kodi to search.
this would definitely be beneficial to find your weaker items in the collection and work to improve them. If you can sort by video quality you should by audio also.
I couldn’t find a newer conversation on this and was also seeking this feature for similar reasons mention by others in the this thread. Any chance it’s been implemented and I am just missing it?
