I have My Little Pony series Friendship is Magic And I just added Pony Life to my tv folder and it added season 01 and season 02 of Pony life into Friendship is magic and named them the same episodes as Friendship is Magic. Im not sure how to separate them. Should I delete Pony Life and have it refresh the metadata but when i do that how can I re-add it with the correct series? my folders are as such /TV/My Little Pony/Friendship is Magic/Season01 and so on and the other is /TV/My Little Pony/Pony Life/Season01 and so on. Is it because they are both in My Little Pony folder? some guidance would be appreciated. thanks

Is your TV library is pointing at /TV?
Plex does not support such structure (the “My Little Pony” folder).
Also, use the show name as listed on TheTVDB.com or TheMovieDB.org.
Use this structure:
/TV <-- folder added to TV show library
.../My Little Pony Friendship is Magic (2010) <-- show name
....../Season 01 <-- "Season" in English, two digits for number
........./My Little Pony Friendship is Magic (2010) - s01e01.ext <-- ext=mkv/mp4/etc.

If you want a separate My Little Pony TV show library, then use this structure:

Yeah, Plex doesn’t like sub-folders within a series. Once you index a location (such as "\Videos\TV Shows\ "), it expects every folder to be their own separate show. You must bring the shows up to be on the same level as eachother, not in a sub folder alone. I hate it, some shows (Batman, Scooby Doo) I want to have organized near eachother in a sub folder, but you cannot do this easily.
If it helps, name the shows similarly in your folder structure so they appear next to eachother. Like for me, I named my Batman folders with the prefix "Batman {YEAR} - {SHOW NAME} ({YEAR}), so they would show up in the correct order on my hard drive. Then, if plex gets confused and cannot match the show, you can manually match it once and done is done.

Ok this is all great information. I imagine once I move/rename/restructure this will automatically separate pony life showing up as friendship is magic? I’ll try all these suggestions soon. Thanks again!
alright I put each series in the root directory and that is working out. Not organized like I want it to be in file explorer but its fine. Thanks everyone!
