One server that i own and is within my local network and local access only.
One server that i own and hosted by my seedbox service provider that is available to access from anywhere
One server that I do not own but have access given me by the owner of the server.
I get “secure connection” error to all three when using web player, while I have no problems connecting to all three servers using the android app. This happens regardless of the browser or the operating system. (happens both in windows and mac, happens in safari, chrome and opera) This suddenly started today, out of nowhere.
Unfortunately this is not the issue, as 2 of the 3 servers I have access to are not in my local network, but all 3 have secure connection problems, starting as of today. I have not updated any of the browsers.
An ISP related dns server problem maybe? (flushing dns did not work) But android app works.
I switched to google dns for testing, and yes, it works now. My ISP has done something to their dns servers, which results in secure connection problems. This is a temporary solution though. Google dns (or any other public dns) is not something I want to rely on long term. At least I know the culprit now.

Cloudflare is also a good DNS ensolver.
1.1.1.1 is the primary and 1.0.0.1 the secondary DNS address. They are usually faster than the DNS server of your ISP.
It would be interesting to know why your ISP did that. Either it’s some misinformed step to “protect their customers” from the evils of the Internet, or they simply want to avoid the data traffic that private streaming servers can generate.
If you have a way asking them, please do and share their answer.
