Unfortunately this is not the issue, as 2 of the 3 servers I have access to are not in my local network, but all 3 have secure connection problems, starting as of today. I have not updated any of the browsers. An ISP related dns server problem maybe? (flushing dns did not work) But android app work…

You can try and use a different DNS server than the one from your ISP. You can switch that either on the computer with the browser, or right at your router where it will affect all devices on the local network. https://support.plex.tv/articles/206225077-how-to-use-secure-server-connections/

I switched to google dns for testing, and yes, it works now. My ISP has done something to their dns servers, which results in secure connection problems. This is a temporary solution though. Google dns (or any other public dns) is not something I want to rely on long term. At least I know the culpri…

@Names81 Cloudflare is also a good DNS ensolver. :wink: 1.1.1.1 is the primary and 1.0.0.1 the secondary DNS address. They are usually faster than the DNS server of your ISP. BTW: Merry christmas to you and your family! :christmas_tree:

update on the issue: i called my isp. they were not even aware of the issue. the problem resolved on its own, 40 hours after my call. I still permanently switched to the cloudfare dns though. a lot faster than the isp’s dns as @Fluamsler said.
