I think it would be cool if we had like Genres if you will that when your discovering stuff If your looking for something that you know is say an HBO Max original but can’t remember the name you could search just the content that’s on that specific service. Much like when it recommends items to you from said service but instead would allow you to view the entire library of that service and break it down by Movie, Tv Series, A-Z, Date of release, etc to help you find what ur looking for.

in essence yes…I think just watch might offer more but I generally would use it for the basic as I asked for here and I think it would be awesome if it was baked into plex and to be honest I find just watch isn’t always 100% accurate but to their credit, things change so frequently.
How in the hell do you think Plex is gonna do any better in that regard? Especially when privacy policies will then be questioned for these new features.
Currently many of us are waiting for better aggregation and importing of Podcasts, one year since its revamp in the Plex ecosystem. Failures to import and get other Podcasts into our server has resulted in zero response or resources since the server is proprietary and closed off. What makes anyone think that Plex can truly handle the aggregator part of ever changing api and libraries of other services when they can’t even handle their own platform?

I 100% agree that they have work to do and that it wouldn’t be an easy feat but with the new discover option looking at a whole lot of services to find content and so far with it still being in beta it’s looking good so far I think they have the building blocks to make it close to what I’m asking for and they are on the right path. I mean Google TV now does it and Roku TV does it so if plex can figure it out it would be pretty awesome. The question is if they can and will do it.
As for the podcasts ya that still needs a lot of work. Have they given up!?
But I will say I did suggest another feature that I have been hoping for quietly for years and they responded with a little sneak peek into them currently building out that feature although not polished it looks better than I could have imagined and they said they are still working on it with no ETA so heres to staying hopeful!
