Seed option for generating "random" when using shuffle option for Music/TV Shows

I have used the shuffle function for some time now and it seems to choose the same titles/tracks more often than not. When checking play count/history I have tracks that have never been played, some that have been played once or twice, and several songs that have been played 15-20 times. Whatever Plex is using as it RNG doesn’t seem to vary to much in it’s randomness. Suggest adding an option in server settings that allows the input of some sort of numerical value that will be used by Plex’s RNG; allow us to change this value at anytime to encourage randomness

Edit 1a: Smart Shuffling is enabled

Edit 1b: TV Shows (not just music) seem to do the same thing. I use “shuffle” so I can watch 1 or 2 episodes while having a meal and it’ll be once it showed the day before even though it has a couple hundred episodea to choose from.

Do you possibly have the Smart Shuffle feature enabled?

Yes, it is enabled. Does this setting also affect TV Shows? I mentioned TV in the title but seemed to miss it in the body . . . I will edit my post to reflect this.

No, that setting is only music. There shouldn’t be any biasing for TV shows.
