Plex music shuffle is very bad, I created a playlist with the artists that I like at the moment, 29 artists, 1170 tracks. I use this playlist when I am running and today the first 10 songs that Plexamp play 8 of the 10 where from the same artists and the other 2 another artists. I have 29 artists, why in 30 minutes you only play 2 artists?
Another thing is I use “One star” rating as thumbs up and thumb down and when I play in Plexamp the “Library Radio” 90% of the time it play thumbs up track and I prefer if it could be a balance between track rated and not rated.
I have disable the setting “Enable smart shuffling on artists and smart music playlists”

This is the source of all your troubles. Smart Shuffle exists to fix the problems you’ve described. It “dithers” artists to prevent perceived patterns like you’ve described, it weights against stuff you’ve played recently, and it avoids 1-starred items (among other things).
With Smart Shuffle disabled, we use a “pure” random shuffle. Paradoxically, this is likely to seem less random due to our brains’ tendency to recognise patterns where none exist.

Smart Shuffle is conceptually similar to what’s described in the above post. Non-smart shuffle uses a “pure” Fisher-Yates shuffle (like Spotify used to use)
Thanks for the replay SimonXCIV, I enable “Enable smart shuffling on artists and smart music playlists” and I try it this morning when I was running. I delete the cache in my Plexamp for iPhone and in Chrome for Windows and it was better because it play songs that were not play in the last week but still in 1 hour it play 4 songs of the same artists and same album and my playlist have 29 artists.
Again SimonXCIV thanks for the help but I still think that Plex music shuffle need a fix. Today I use Plexamp for iPhone and I play “Library Radio” and in my 20 minutes drive from home to my office it play 3 songs from the same artist. I have in my library 1188 artist, 5970 albums and 43343 tracks.
