I have spent the last 2 days after buying the Plex lifetime trying to get Plex to work. Now I have the player in TV mode and am able to use my Harmony remote with Flirc to control the app. But how to I see the TV Grid so as to schedule programs to record? I can see it in PC mode and use a keyboard to get to a program to record, but the Harmony remote is not set up to work in PC Mode. In TV mode, i just get really large icons showing what’s on now and various other groups I don’t care about. Please don’t tell me there is no way to see the gird in TV mode and I must use a keyboard to schedule recordings.
Hi! I’m a big fan of the harmony remote(s). I know the following seems to be a PITA but I’m not all that familiar with “TV mode” as I use my harmony remote with the Nvidia shield plex client.
Can you program an “action” in the harmony to correspond with the keyboard keys you use ? Like for instance program the yellow button to go up 3 times (or whatever it needs) back, back, A,B start?
The Problem is in TV Mode I can’t see a way to see the TV grid . In PC mode I can. I don’t see a way to program it to switch to pc mode to see the grid and search to record and then back to TV mode to watch things. It’s possible someone could figure this out, but not me. This shouldn’t be so hard. Has anyone at Plex ever seen Windows Media Center?
