I would absolutely love to clean up my Plex Account login pages per device.
I have myself, wife, kids, + 1 on my Plex Home. We all use the TV in the living room so all the user icons can stay on that device. However, my bedroom Firestick is only used by myself and my wife. It would be nice to be able to remove the other users icons from that screen.
Allowing for them to be easily retrieved by selecting a More option somewhere else.
If you enable “Sign in automatically” in the device settings it always keeps the last used user logged in and skips the user picker screen.
Yes but that’s not even close to what I’m suggesting or wanting.
I’d prefer to have the option to hide several other users on a device that only 2 users use.
The TV in my room isn’t for my kids or friends. It’s for my wife and I. Therefore, only my profile and my wife’s profile should be seen. Others should have the option to be hidden.
I see yes that is very different. You may want to change this post to a feature request then.
I’ve changed it to a “feature request”
While Plex Forums has allowed Plex to save money on a natural support chain, it would greatly benefit you (and everyone else) to have a normal support channel. I’m thrilled that Plex wants to give us users a space to link up and support each other. But this isn’t Reddit. This is a company we pay to use. At least us Plex-Pass subscribers should have a normal support channel rather than a Reddit alternative.
If my suggestion is a feature request then I’d half expect the employee at Plex to take the idea to the proper teams/channels.
Plex now has ads, rentals, in-app purchases. We paid for transcoding capabilities (and more). Provide a normal support channel for those who support you… financially.
