I searched but didn't find a request. So sorry if this is a duplicate.
On a Roku, and assume this applies to other devices, is to configure which user accounts show up on the main screen. For example:
I have my main plex account, one for each of my kids for their iOS devices, a parent local account, and kids local account. I would like to be able to just hide all but the Parent and Kids accounts on the main Screen. I think it would look nicer. Not sure if this would be an option under plex server to only show certain accounts on remote devices. Or something you would change on each device under advanced settings.
No one in my household picks their individual plex accounts when using the boxes connected to the TV's. They either choose Parents or Kids local accounts. Similar to our Netflix profiles.
The point of Plex Home is to be able to switch easily between accounts. If you hide them, you can’t switch to them anymore, which goes against the idea of Plex Home. If you don’t want other accounts showing up, you can use a regular Friend account and just share to that. No more other users to worry about. Or turn those accounts you don’t want to see into a Friend account so they don’t show up in Plex Home.
I hate the fact that your forum username is what shows up. Not sure who came up with such a dumb idea. I want to see my real name. People come over and ask who is Deihmos.

This sounds like a separate issue from the one by the original poster. It should probably be handled in a separate thread.

I want to hide it from the login screen. There are requests to not use your forum name going back a few years. Last i heard it is on the to do list but that probably means another few years.

You want Plex to display your real name instead of your user name. At least, that’s how your statement reads. The OP wants to hide accounts completely from the page. Different issue.
Sorry for the very late reply! I have my server setup with Home accounts. Family, Kids, etc… It would be great to hide the one that is my main plex user account from the login screen (i.e., my forum name). I only use that to manage my server, never for streaming content. But as I’m typing this, I can see the issues that need to be figured out. Such as, how do you then only show the login account when you want to manage your server. I do login via the web interface all the time for that part of it. I just don’t want it showing up on my Roku devices for example.
