Selecting "Custom Filter" causes "There was an unexpected error"

Was checking out the new HDR filter, decided to click “Custom Filter” and now any libraries which it has been clicked on permanently display “There was an unexpected error”. I am getting the same thing for TV so I guess I need to reinstall my client. Ill update if that fixes the issue once I get time to do so.

I found the answer was to restore the setting back to the defaults but I wasn’t sure where to do that. I found it if you go to Settings, then look under the Plex section on the left side of the screen and select Debug. In there you should see a red button labelled “Restore Defaults”. I clicked that and followed through the other screens to restore things and it all works now. Hope that helps.

assuming you are taking about Plex for Windows not Plex Media Player. ( i changed the topic tag).

It should be fixed in 1.4 that should be out soon.
