Why has nothing been done?
I like this feature. It would help with Parental Control when you force-stop a video and send a message, āYouāre suppose to be doing school work,ā or āYouāre suppose to be sleeping!ā Not a small message window, up for a few seconds. A large box that you need to click āOKā to get rid of the message.

Iāve routinely thought about this - finally adding my +1 - need a bulletin board or a message center of some sort.

Yeah this one needs a bit attention, new Forum and forgotten in the depts of the absys.

I host a plex server for a lot of friends and being able to put up welcome messages would be awesome. People have offered to donate money for server costs and having a banner for maintenance notifications and a link to donate would be so cool.

I found this thread because I was hoping it was something that was being worked on. Given the length of time and lack of response Iām guessing it isnāt going to happen.
