after updating to the latest version plex stopped working on my TV. I have tried everything i can think of to fix this but nothing. I didnt change anything, nothing has changed on my network, i dont use anti virus, the update killed plex and i cant find a single topic that can help me out.
i have been busy for days trying to find a solution. nobody helps or has one so im deleting plex. congrats plex, you killed your own product.
To those that are having this issue or others which plex wont help you with, use Emby.
Its free, nothing hidden behind paywalls and it actually works.

My Plex keeps crashing as well after the new update. It kicks me off every time I upload or replace files and it kicks me off every time it does its nightly updates. So in the morning or after every time I upload something I have to go Web Browser, Package Center, Installed & Plex Media Server (if it’s not open click Run) then I can watch my stuff till the next time it updates in the middle the night and I have to go back in on my laptop and hit RUN again. Just posted this issue on here, hopefully someone can help. But I figured you might want to check if your Plex is on it’s Open or Run and if it’s Open click Run and this might let you see your stuff till it’s next update and then do it again till they fix this issue. Hope this helps.
