I am using PMS on my raspberry pi 3 just as a small project and every roughly 24 hours or so the server becomes unavailable.
I am then told that there is another unclaimed server on my network which is the raspberry pi with the same name.
I have absolutely no clue what is going on.

Could be connected to a broken SD card. Every 24 hours the scheduled tasks are triggered and the load on the filesystem can cause this data corruption. Please post the logs [1] and take a look at the output of dmesg.
