I’ve been having this issue for quite some time with my plex server where every time I scan and it completes it makes my server not respond for 1-2 mins and then every thing is back to normal.
I currently can not turn on auto scan as every time a new file is added it drops my clients for 1-2 mins each time. I have turned my scanning to manual and only between certain times which is annoying…
CPU: AMD Ryzen Threadripper 2920X
OS: Ubuntu 18.04
Using latest PMS docker ( Docker Hub )
Server Version#: 4.94.2 (Prev version as well)
Player Version#: All players
