Since many of us have friends and family that we allow to access our PLEX servers the server message feature which is apparently a several years long topic that will apparently NEVER be addressed (view based solely on the continuous requests for this feature and replies by others to give it up!!! LOL) I would like to SPECIALIZE this request for the same type of feature.
It would be a GREAT feature to be able to SHOW recommendations of what to watch, listen to, view, etc… to viewers. When someone connects to the server an OPTION to view SERVER RECOMMENDATIONS would be available. Either on the main screen AND / OR on the screens for each type of service (Movies, TV, Music, etc…)
On the server side, the owner could create a file (via data entry in the server console) that would show a list of or LINK TO recommended files that they think their users would enjoy.
