I contacted Feral again telling them to reach you.
I have the same issues as well, I contacted Feral and mentioned this thread.
Although the answers from @ChuckPa in this thread convinced me to look for alternative software.
To reply to the ping, I have not been contacted by anyone regarding this issue.
I just got a response to my feralhosting ticket last night. They just finished up changing how plex is deployed on their systems and are now using docker containers to isolate the instances on their shared servers. I just set my instance up last night and everything looks good so far! I was even able to delete the multiple dead server instances I had which I was unable to delete previously. If anyone is curious, here are the new instructions.
*Please note you will need to remove your previous install before setting up the docker container install.
One thing that I goofed on was how pathing works inside the docker container instance. Your home directory is mounted under /data under the docker instance of Plex for feral so don’t use your old system paths as they have now changed.
old system path
/media/mountpoint/username/private/rtorrent/data/HomeMovies
new path for docker instance of plex
/data/private/rtorrent/data/HomeMovies
