This is more than likely asked (did a search but cant find much).
Id like the Plex server to give an option to store all my users ratings (5 stars) and then show just the average rating to my users. This could be in place of, or even an extra over the rottern tomatoes etc scores.
I think it would also be great if the server would allow the admin to click on the average ratings to bring up a balloon/popup of what each user rated the media at. This part would not be available for the basic users to see, for privacy reasons.
I think this would really help clear out some clutter from a server. I’m running out of storage and I have about a dozen accounts connected to my plex server. Being able to sort by this rating would make it much easier to find what shows/movies nobody wants, and remove them.
I would vote this up as well… I’m currently looking at ways to automat the fat trimming based on user ratings… My shared users are not allowed to star my media, so of we could collect that somehow, and enable it to be a filter choice (I.e. less than 3 stars). It would be great. I agree it should be a different rating storage from the IMDb, and perhaps a weighted average based on the privilege level of a shared user?
