I’ve been running PMS on a Windows 10 Pro server for over 5 years with no issues. I haven’t upgraded PMS or changed anything recently but all of a sudden I started getting the infamous “Server Settings Unavailable” issue. I upgraded PMS (uninstalled and reinstalled), both to the regular and beta versions of 1.18, and nothing changed. Then I downgraded to 1.16.2.1321 because I still have the exe but that didn’t fix it. I also noticed that when I would open Plex on a browser pointed to localhost, it would hang for 3-5 minutes but eventually get there. Very peculiar.
Then I figured I might as well start over. So I uninstalled PMS, deleted the data folder, and deleted the registry keys. After reinstalling, I get a" A problem has been detected with a core component of Plex Media Server" error. So now I’m stuck. Any suggestions?
