Setting up Plex server on a VPS

Can anyone point me in the right direction in setting my plex server on a vps?.. i’ve tried so many things and i keep getting “OFFLINE” when someone tries to view any media, when it’s not… I tried setting up on a LINUX/UBUNTU VPS, i was giving a test VPS, running ubuntu 18.04, i use my Google Drive as storage for my media, but on linux when i mounted my GDRIVE, Plex Media server couldn’t see Folders/files inside the GDRIVE like windows can… Heres an example, as of now i am running plex media on my own PC/Network.

As you can see Windows shows the folders but on Linux it doesn’t show anything?..

I installed XRDP or something similar onto the linux vps so i could remotely connect to the VPS via windows built in RDP, but i will check and see if this works and report back,

@BeeYacht What do you mean exactly? i can mount my gdrive on the LINUX VPS, and view the contents inside the mount, folders and files, but when it comes to Plex Media Server adding media/folders the contents inside the mount doesnt show, like the screenshot above does, which is on an RDP in Windows

Sounds like a permission problem. The user that is running Plex needs at least read access to all files and folders.
