Hi I have a few Various Artists series that contain many Albums. Is there a way to group them so I can see Various Artist Pebbles then when I select that in the library I see vol 1 Vol 2 Vol 3 etc.
Cheers
John

You could create an album collection for each of those series.
Hi Tom - Thnak you for the suggestion. How would I do that I’ve tried have a container folder Pebbles then moved the other folders under them but plex still displayed them all individually. Is there something Im missing for each volume I’ve made them various Artists and put the disc number same as the volume number. Im very new to plex so probably missing something simple
You can’t reflect collections in the file system.
They’re a concept of organization within Plex.
You can either select the albums and add them to a new collection. That’ll create a „classic/regular collection“.
Alternatively you can create a smart collection based on an advanced filter.
In this screenshot, I’ve created two collections of artists (Dave Grohl collection with Nirvana and Foo Fighters; Freddie Mercury collection with Queen and Freddie as a solo artist).
There’s also a few smart collections with sampler albums from my youth.
Thanks Tom
Managed to create a Cornflake Zoo Collection.
To a while to work out how to edit the title of the collection but got there in the end
Many Thanks For Your Help
John
