Settings easier to find

Hi;

I do appreciate all the new and old features, but there are any possibility of deactivation!
PLEX have a lot of features that people do not use or want to deactivate momentary or permanently.

Features who needs a check to deactivate or Show/Hide:

1. Ignore articles
   (There are Languages who needs to ordering with articles. The whole film name, is sometimes needed)
2. Create collections
   (A great feature, but is it necessary to have the collections mixed among the films? On my case, I do have the same on the playlist section)
3. Online content
   (Again, there are great features on the online content, but i do not need the News, the Podcasts or the Plugins)

If you add new features, do not force us to have them always activated. I am sure there are more people besides me, who would appreciate the possibility of deactivating these features.

Would it be possible to rethink the location of the adjustments?

The settings to change or deactivate everything necessary are there, but too hard to find.

There are four locations for Settings:

1. Library Settings
They are the settings for each library created.

• Here is the option to deactivate the collections.

2. General Settings

They are located on the Plex Web and contains settings for:

1. Web
2. Server
3. Users
4. Devices

• We all now these settings!

3. Account Settings

These are the settings of your Plex account.
Here are located the “Online Media Sources” options and you can deactivate the “NEWS”, “PODCASTS” and more.

• Is this the best location for this setting?

4. Hidden Settings https://support.plex.tv/articles/201105343-advanced-hidden-server-settings/
I do not know how to explain these adjustments. Just Hidden Settings!

• We have advanced settings in the general adjustments section. Why are not these settings here?

You can turn off showing collections.

It could be, but most people will never touch these settings, that’s why it’s under advanced.

Where would you suggest? It is a setting related to your library, so I think it’s in the right place.

True, but News and Podcasts have nothing to do with the Web client. These are related to your account.
