Setup web page will not open

Hi.

 

Have Ubuntu 14.04 LTS server and have installed GUI.

 

Installed PLEX MEDIA SERVER (version - 0.9.7.22.510-8faeab3) 64bit

 

The server is running, can see server on laptop, ipad and LG Smart TV on home network.

 

When i logon to server (Ubuntu Server), open installed desktop and the open Firefox.

 

Wthin Firefox I enter the server address and port have tried - http://localhost:32400/web/index.html and  http://192.168.0.200.../web/index.html, an many other options and all I get is a blank white webscreen.

 

It turns the Firefox tab to the PLEX logo but a blank white screen.

 

Have tried complete uninstall and install serveral times, have tried to remote logon server MYPLEX setup page from laptop and ipad and have tried Firefox, internet explorer and Chrome, all the same.

 

Additionally if i use http://192.168.0.200:32400/ - i get a xml version but nothing works (see image 4)

 

Can anyone help???

if your running something like NoScript addon i think that causes issues in firefox

if not then resetting the the webclient.bundle is what I would try first

 
follow these directions but delete the webclient.bundle which is in the same folder as the other two

PS: 0.9.7.22 is a pretty old version the server is up to version 0.9.9.12 at the moment

Bigwheel, many thanks did an uninstall and the latest version of plex install. Also made sure all files from previous install had been deleted and all worked first time.
