I’m exploring the new Plex experience. I wasn’t surprised by the lack of music and photo features as that was announced previously. In a related post, I suggested prompting for installation of companion apps and having a switcher in each one, as a middle ground.
Another point is that the new app seems to use the old setup and authentication files. This is fine however, the screens use different wording for the same thing depending on the platform one is using. For example, you get a button saying “Plex Account” but the same button says “Plex Email” elsewhere. “Sources” sometimes renders as “Navigation Menu”. Can we have the same phrasing?
