Hi,

My server is crashing daily ever since the latest update.
Please could somebody have a look at my logs and advise.
Thanks

I am experiencing similar issues where every couple of days plex will crash and restarting PMS will not fix it. I am running version 1.15.3.876. I have to restart my windows 10 pc to get plex working again. logs attachedLogs.zip (14.4 MB).

I am not seeing crashes but there is some evidence that suggests you have two instances of Plex Media Server.exe running at some point - perhaps one as a service or scheduled task and the other the normal auto launch on login / start of windows session

The logs show some overlap - which suggests two parallel Plex Media Server.exe processes running

Also the presence of warnings such as these periodically logged is indicative of the process running as a service or scheduled task

If you intend to run it as service/scheduled task, you must disable the auto start of Plex Media Server on login / boot

You should delete
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\Plex Media Server

You would be better off using the solution that many users have adopted rather than do it yourself
See PMS as a service

I cannot help you whilst you have done this

May 18, 2019 08:17:45.898 [9044] WARN - Crash: Crash reporting disabled

Need Logs with debug enabled (as you have) and crash reporting enabled

Thank you for the super fast response. I will check that out and switch to the PMS as a service.

Just went through my configuration and you are totally right. I never disabled the scheduled task when i switched to auto launch at login. I have the disabled the task, deleted that registry value, and switched to run as a service so hopefully i wont have this issue anymore. Thanks again
