Is there anyway to see that outbound data used off your server (either by user or gross)? it would be very helpful in bandwidth rationing with my ISP’s dumb data cap.
Not within Plex. The 3rd party application PlexPy might, but I’m not sure. Regardless, it is a good tool so if it does not you can surely find other uses for it.
thanks I just downloaded it and got it running love the data! do you recommend running it on a secondary computer so it can report if the whole system is down? or do you run it on the same system as the server?
Running it on a secondary, physical machine seems overkill imho. I have a virtual environment setup so for me it is easier to have it running on a secondary virtual machine. But in the end… it is your setup, your electricity bill and up to you how important the Plexpy functionality is 
thanks I still have it on the server, I had an issue last night where the server shutdown while some users were midstream and it showed them with 9 hours of watching a tv show from the incident to the restart.
I currently have three computers running in my plex network I think im going to add my old laptop to run just plexpy… ill get back with more info after I complete it this afternoon
