Is there a way to have more items appear in the Continue Watching Section on Shield TV? On PC and android phones and devices I can click on the word Continue Watching and at least 40 items pop up because that’s what I have it set to in the server. The max it lets me see on the Shield is 10
should be whatever you have set on you servers library settings. but it will only show items from the sources/libraries you have pinned on the side bar in any given app.
There is no way to click the Continue Watching section on the Shield TV, thats the issue. On PC and on my phone and tablet i can click this section to open it up and see more, im asking if theres a way to just see more by default on the shield or is there a way to click this section that im not aware of. On the Shield i can only pick from the 10 items that are listed on the main screen. Actually, the other sections Recently Added , Recently Played etc, these sections i can scroll on forever. Its just the Continue Watching that stops at ten items. And i have mine set to 40 since forever.
Edit: ok just a few other things, i changed the continue watching to only a few items and on pc it still shows 84 (all of the items ive watched in this section) This section is Other Videos, not Movies or Tv or anything. Would this be a factor? Its like its being ignored I also have it excluded from Home screen and global search
Edit3: ok i just checked other sections and on PC i have 11 items available to view in Continue watching in my TV section but on the shield it still only goes to 10. its only this particular section that does this. Recently Added, Recently played, both scroll as far as the beginning of my library.
So im guessing that this is some bug or hidden limit that i dont know how to overcome for the Continue Watching section on the Shield in each category. On the Home section Continue Watching shows all of the items from every section without a problem.

I have it set to 40 already. The continue watching in every sections only shows up to ten as you can see in the videos. I’ve also upped to to over 100 and it still just shows ten on the shield
welp, still no solution for this, ive showed videos of what happens and have said ive increased the limit on my server way above 10… Just gonna switch to Emby cuz it doesnt have this issue.
OK. Been trying to reproduce the issue but just can’t. The only other thing I can think of is if you have any tv libraries at all set to exclude from home screen but I could not reproduce with that enabled either

Yea that was probably it, I had the section excluded from the home screen but it’s ok I still use Plex for all movies tv and anime atc, this section was other videos. It’s better I have these on emby anyhow.
