For those of us who have a large movie collection it would be nice to be able to rattle through the list of movies and be able to create a shortlist to narrow down ‘tonight’s flick’. This would obviously need to be from the client side however I’m assuming the playlist itself would need to be on the server side.
…or perhaps it would just be easier to allow us to create/edit playlists from the client?

I’d very much like a shortlist option as well. When we want to watch a movie we usually go through and select a handful to choose from and then decide, but half the time by the time we’re finished looking for options we’ve forgotten what some of them were! We can create a playlist, but then from the playlist you can’t actually look at any of the movie info as it just lists the titles.
