I may be not able to see it, so please excuse my ignorance if this is the case.
On most of the other platforms, you have the ability to go into the TV shows and see JUST the unwatched episodes of television. No need to display those I have watched (as I have watched them), and most days I don’t have in mind a specific show to watch. I would like to (as in other platforms) sit down, filter all the TV to unwatched, and show me what my choices are, and then watch that show. Once watched, it is removed from this list. This happens perfectly on the new Apple TV. This would also include JUST seeing the episodes rather than having to dig for the show ie show then season then scroll down. On Apple TV for example you see the unwatched and go to the show.
I can see unwatched in the 1.5 client but it doesn’t seem to do this. I still get all the shows and it doesn’t seem to filter.
Am I doing something wrong?
With thanks for an otherwise world leading product…
I am having a similar issue, the unwatched filter does sort the files but I have to cursor all the way to the right to find the group of any shows with the unwatched count icon and does not remove/filter out the series with all episodes watched.
Yes, I have been wondering the same thing for some time now. The latest update(s) do have something that says “Unwatched” but it appears to be unusable…
“Unwatched” isn’t a filter, it’s a sorting option only right now. Which makes it a bit useless, IMO. I cannot understand why we still do not have filters - and specifically the filter Unwatched - in the Xbox One client.
I still haven’t seen this on a feature or bug list. With a large library with lots of new content (that wasn’t necessarily “recently” added) in it, this makes it hard to find the shows you’re looking for.
