Could we please have a pay to quickly view playback progress of videos without pausing? Maybe when the ‘info’ or ‘down’ button is pressed to bring up the playback options overlay it could also show a progress bar with time elapsed time remaining?
Xbox has this function as I just press “A” or something else to bring up that quick menu at the bottom. I’m sure they could get that to work on Apple TV.
I’m pretty sure that a progress bar was shown by pressing info or up or something in a previous version but I might be thinking of PMP which I migrated away from quite some time ago.
If you tap (not click) the Siri remote it will display the current progress of your media. Tap it again to show what time your media will finish.

Thanks for that. I don’t use the Siri remote (Harmony instead) which is probably why I didn’t know this.
