Show the pictures in de root folder?

When i add an music album Plex starts looking for a known picture of that album.
Sometimes Plex can’t find the picture, i’m from Holland, and i have to start looking manual in the folder structure for that picture in de same folder as the music files.
Could Plex automatically check the home folder of the music files for pictures in the most used format and show them in the edit window under poster? (png and jpg)
Then we can choose what picture we wan’t to see without endless searching in finder.

Music / <-- folder which is added to the music library
|--Albumartistname /
   | artist-poster.jpg <--- a photo of the artist
   | artist-background.jpg <--- a background/wallpaper particular to the artist
   |--Albumtitle /
         cover.jpg <--- album cover
background.jpg <--- album background/wallpaper [if not present, inherited from the 'albumartist' level]
         1. Trackartist - Tracktitle.mp3
         1. Trackartist - Tracktitle.txt
         2. Trackartist - Tracktitle.mp3
         2. Trackartist - Tracktitle.lrc
         ...

Tanks you, it works perfect!

Does it also work for video’s?

Similarly, yes. The rules for that are all laid out here: Category : Your Media | Plex Support
Look out for “Local Media Assets”.

I consider that means your demand has actually been addressed / Plex can already deliver what you were looking for… making this suggestion thread obsolete?
