I’ve started facing this problem in the last couple of months, but some Watchlisted shows don’t appear in the ‘Continue Watching’ section of the ‘Watchlist’ page. I use this section to keep track of all the shows I’m watching across services and my Plex library. But, some shows I’m watching show up (like ‘Planet Earth’ in the screenshot), while others don’t (like ‘Scavengers Reign’ or ‘The Graham Norton Show’ - both of which are Watchlisted - in the same screenshot). To be clear, I’m watching all 3 shows from my Plex library on my hard drive and not from a streaming platform.
However, the problem seems to be agnostic to that. With ‘Slow Horses’ (on Apple TV+), it didn’t show up on the ‘Continue Watching’ tab as well, even though it’s not from my local library. Also, I could not change the last season’s status to ‘Watched’. I would right-click the season and ‘Mark as Watched’, the tick would appear on the upper right-hand corner and then, a second later, it would disappear and the season would revert to ‘Unwatched’.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, since the basic purpose of using the Universal Watchlist as one place to keep track of all your current viewing across platforms is currently broken for me.
