Shrink Plex Media Server > Metadata > Albums size

Hello, wondering if there is a good way to shrink the size of the Plex Media Server > Metadata > Albums size? Right now this folder has grown to 30GB+

I see a lot info for videos and turning of the thumbnail preview. I dont see much though for the albums folder.

If i delete the contents of this folder will it start removing items from the music library?
