Got a weird one here since updating to the latest PlexAmp today (iOS).
If I download an album for local playback, go to Downloads section, long-press and select Play, the first song starts playing but also shuffle is automatically enabled. If I then disable shuffle, stop playback (by long pressing pause) and then try it again… shuffle is re-enabled. Can anybody else replicate this? Thanks!
Same here. Using latest Android app.
Also sometimes when it goes to the next track in an album, it starts playing the track at the end of the track, about 20 secs before the end of the track usually.
So sorry about this late-breaking regression, we’ll have it fixed shortly in a v3.7.1 hot-fix once we fix a few other minor things.
You need to disable the Store Track Progress setting on your music library If you’ve done it recently, you’ll need to re-download whatever you may have downloaded with it enabled.
Why is that? I’ve got 24gb of music downloaded onto my phone using Plexamp. Are you telling me I have to change this setting, delete all of this music and then re-download it?
OK, so how much content should I be using, maximum? So far the only performance issues I’ve had are the shuffle thing and the inability to clear the queue until the last song. I think there should be an option to close the player without shutting down the whole app, and to clear the playback queue out without doing what I just described (maybe there is and I’m just unaware of it).
Also, I did try shutting off the “Store Track Progress” setting and also the “Enable smart shuffling on artists and smart music playlists” and re-downloaded all my content. The forced shuffle on playback of downloaded still occurs. I guess I’ll have to wait for v3.7.1 for this fix?
